All the marks were lined up correctly before I turned the crank to ensure that there was no valve to piston contact. Everything seemed like all was good to me. 1 thing is that the car was slow starting a couple weeks before I tore it down to start on the timing belt. Could it be the spark plugs? I've never replaced them since I've owned the car. had about 70k when I bought it, now has 102k. Was looking at pulling the plugs and replacing, but the coil pack connectors look like they are wrapped in electrical tape. Are they supposed to just pull out, or what?
